Everyone likes to live in a clean clutter free house. No one likes to live in a choatic house which needs to be
beyond clutter. Most of us are either full time parents or have full time jobs and so leaving us very little time to get rid of clutter. But there are still a few things that we can do which require very little daily effort to keep our homes clutter free.
Have A Decluttering Kit
Three medium sized boxes which are marked with put away ,give away and charity rubbish bags for the trash, dust cloths and plastic gloves are what you at least need for the decluttering kit. This will keep you organized.
Work In A Direction
Know which direction you will work in when you start decluttering an area or a room, so say you could go clockwise. Clean and declutter each area as you go along that direction, start at the entrance of a room or an area.
Be Ruthless
This is very important because if you dont be ruthless with you clutter you will never be able to declutter properly. If you dont need something or havent used something for at least a year then throw or give it away. If in doubt of something then still it is better to throw it away as you probably dont need it. A good rule to follow is every time you buy something, then throw or give away something. Once your boxes are full then either put them away or give them away straight away dont let the boxes sit there for weeks.
Do It Regularly
It is best not to have massive clean out days and then not to do any decluttering for months as this will just stress you and not help you in
beyond clutter. Instead try to do some decluttering everyday, say for about ten minutes each day.
